Installation detail

The work Feed the horses deals with the dynamics and emotional complications of taking care of someone or something as well as taking care of a memory. In the video, animated versions of places that are part of personal memories but no longer exist come to life. The protagonist of it all is an animated version of a horse, shown breathing, sleeping.
Thuja trees and seedlings, that are planted into the concrete sculptures, carry the caretaking dynamic into the exhibition space, as they need immediate care during the time the work is shown.
The sound of the video is an edited version of the song Hide and seek by Imogen Heap, which deals with memories engraved into places.
